Night shift means sleeping when the sun is up, and that is where most short-term rentals quietly fail. There is a white-noise machine in the bedroom already — you do not have to pack one or make do with a phone app for thirteen weeks.
This is a quiet residential street, not a party building, and quiet hours run 10 PM to 7 AM. The AC is yours to set; it cools best between 72 and 75 degrees. If a neighbor ever makes that impossible, text us and we will deal with it rather than leave you to it.
Laundry, parking, and the things that eat a day off
- —Laundry is on-site community laundry, not in the unit — we would rather tell you now than have you find out on day one. For stays of 14 nights or more we hand you a laundry card and cover it.
- —Parking is a free assigned spot, numbered the same as your unit. No permit runs, no circling the block before a 7 AM shift.
- —Spare toilet paper, towels, paper towels, and light bulbs live in the bedroom closet, so a Sunday-night run to Publix is not part of your week.
- —Wi-Fi reaches the whole unit, and the dining table works as a desk for charting and CEUs.
What booking direct does to your housing stipend
Booking platforms add a service fee on top of the nightly rate, and that fee comes out of your stipend, not ours. Book direct and it simply is not there — you reach a real person, get a straight quote, and nothing is charged until you decide to stay.
Stays of 30 nights or more get a monthly rate rather than the nightly one. For your housing paperwork we provide a clear receipt and the licensed-rental details, including our FL DHR Vacation Rental License #DWE3914138. If your agency needs something specific in writing, ask and we will send it.
If your partner visits mid-contract
The unit sleeps up to four — a queen bed plus a twin-size sofa bed, with an air mattress on request. Four is also our licensed limit, so it is the honest maximum rather than a marketing number.
Pets are case-by-case and need our written OK first. Ask before you book rather than after, and we will give you a straight answer.
Arriving off a red-eye or straight from a shift
Check-in is a smart-lock keypad on the unit door, so there is nobody to meet and no arrival window to hit. Your code comes in the check-in message before you travel, and the door locks itself behind you.
If the code does not take or your flight lands at some unreasonable hour, text us and we will get you in. It is a second-floor unit up one flight of stairs with no elevator — worth knowing if you are hauling three months of luggage.

Tell us as soon as you know. Extensions usually come down to whether the dates are open, and we will hold what we can. If the assignment changes, message us and we will work the dates out with you rather than hide behind a policy page.
